A 72-year-old woman surnamed Fung, who had been missing since leaving her Ngau Tau Kok home two days ago, was found alive near Kowloon Peak on Monday morning.
Rescuers located the woman at approximately 11 a.m. She was conscious when discovered, and arrangements were made to transport her to the hospital for medical evaluation.

Her family raised the alarm on Sunday after losing contact with her, with her last known phone signal detected near the cemetery area.
Police, firefighters, the Civil Aid Service (CAS), and the Government Flying Service (GFS) launched a large-scale search overnight, combing the rugged terrain with helicopters and ground teams.
Despite their efforts, the elderly woman has yet to be located, and the search resumed this morning (May 19).
At daybreak, a GFS helicopter was seen circling above Diamond Hill Cemetery, while the Fire Services Department deployed at least eight rescue vehicles, including a mobile command unit, assembling near Hilltop Gardens at 33 Fung Shing Street in Ngau Chi Wan.
By 10am, CAS personnel arrived at the scene to assist, setting up a temporary operations tent and reviewing maps to plan search routes before heading uphill.
According to family members, the missing woman suffers from terminal cancer and lives with her children. Her daughter last saw her on Saturday morning (May 17) when she left home wearing hiking attire. The elderly woman was known to enjoy hiking but had no fixed trail preferences.
Disturbingly, she had repeatedly expressed to relatives her wish to pass away in a quiet, secluded place rather than at home, mentioning a fondness for the Diamond Hill cemetery area.
