Fresh off her win as Ultimate Female Newcomer (Gold) on Thursday (Jan 1), rising singer Constance Chan is wasting no time in stepping into her next chapter, taking the stage alongside MC Cheung Tin-fu and Gareth.T (Gareth Tong Ling-shan) in a live show that signals her growing ambition in her musical journey.

The concert was announced just days after her breakthrough moment at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation, where Constance’s bold debut and distinct presence earned her one of the industry’s most closely watched newcomer honors.
Reflecting on the win, she said, “Winning this award feels very special, because many senior artists from my family have also received the Newcomer award on stage. I think it’s a very meaningful recognition.”
Concert Marks Constance’s First Duet with a Male Singer
The concert, “b.balance presents Music is Live|<3 symbol of love|MC x CONSTANCE x Gareth.T”, will take place on May 16 at 7pm at AsiaWorld-Arena. The title “<3” —a heart symbol commonly used online — also reflects the three artists’ shared trait of being under 30. Their first collaboration will be centered on love songs, blending their distinct styles to explore “situationship” and Gen Z perspectives on love.
Sharing the stage with MC Cheung and Gareth.T — known for their distinct styles — marks a milestone for Constance, who will also perform with a male singer for the first time.
She shared, “I hope to sing some of the male-female duets I’ve always wanted.”

Still Exploring: Constance’s Musical Growth and Future Plans
Since her debut, Constance has released three songs across several genres, drawing attention for her willingness to experiment with different influences, from Western hip-hop and K-pop to indie pop.
“I feel like I’m still exploring and trying to find my own style,” she explained.
Looking ahead, Constance plans to explore new sounds, from house tracks to slower ballads, and hopes to collaborate with artists such as Taiwan’s The Crane, 9m88, and Kiri T and Moon Tang from her company Warner Music. She aims to release an album or EP this year, and while a solo concert is on her wish list, she wants to build a larger repertoire first.
She also teased that her next single, set to be released next week, will showcase a completely different style, describing it as “a track with a vibe similar to McDonald’s,” signaling her continued willingness to push creative boundaries.
With her career momentum building, Constance is emerging as one of Cantopop’s most adventurous new voices. Constantly experimenting with different styles, she continues to explore her artistic identity, and her upcoming collaboration on stage with MC Cheung and Gareth.T marks the start of an exciting new chapter.
