Abu Dhabi gathers global financial heavyweights next month

Abu Dhabi Finance Week is poised to captivate global attention from December 9th to 12th, drawing a collective assembly of asset managers overseeing an impressive US$30 trillion (HK$234 trillion) in assets and welcoming over 10,000 business leaders from across 100 countries.

Under the theme 'Welcome to the Capital of Capital,' this year's event will delve into the intrinsic strengths and value propositions of the United Arab Emirates' capital city. It will spotlight Abu Dhabi's evolution as a premier financial hub in the region and the favored destination for elite international financial institutions.

ADFW 2024 aims to explore the synergies that arise when monetary capital intersects with top-tier human capital, cutting-edge technological capabilities, and pioneering innovations emerging in fields such as science, technology, engineering, and creativity.

The event's agenda features five major highlights, including the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum, Asset Abu Dhabi, RESOLVE 2024, Fintech Abu Dhabi, and Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum. Additionally, this year will introduce new forums such as the UBS Investment Forum, the China UAE Investment Summit in partnership with HSBC, the Islamic Finance Summit, the Spear's Private Wealth Summit, and the Abu Dhabi Capital Markets Showcase.

As the flagship global finance platform, ADFW is set to convene prominent figures across various sectors, including private equity, capital markets, hedge funds, asset managers, venture capitalists, institutional investors, investment banks, and fintech companies—jointly managing assets exceeding US$30 trillion. The event anticipates the participation of over 10,000 business leaders and more than 3,500 attendees from leading global financial firms, alongside industry experts, policymakers, regulators, investors, and bankers representing over 100 countries. The event will feature a lineup of over 300 confirmed speakers.

Preceding this event, Abu Dhabi Business Week will kick off from December 4th to 6th, comprising a series of 10 events meticulously crafted to mentor, nurture, and guide startups towards success.
