The International Finance Corp and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority will together host an inaugural climate business forum at the end of this month.
Part of a key event of Hong Kong Green Week - Finance Stream, the forum will be attended by more than 300 decision-makers from the business and finance world at the Island Shangri-La on February 27 and 28.
The forum will feature keynote addresses, panels, and roundtable discussions focused on the energy transition, decarbonization of heavy industries, the circular economy, the future of sustainable finance and new climate technologies in Asia and the Pacific.
HKMA chief executive Eddie Yue Wai-man said Hong Kong has been contributing to the region's transition as an international financial center and Asia Pacific's sustainable finance hub.
