Hong Kong stocks rebounded at the opening on Tuesday, after US President Donald Trump postponed the bombing of Iran's power grid.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 377 points, or 1.55 percent, to 24,759.
The tech gauge went up 1.3 percent to 4,773.
Laopu Gold (6181) surged 10.5 percent in the morning trading session after it fell sharply a day ago, as it posted a two-times growth in its profit last year. It's the best performer among blue chips.
With oil prices retreating 10 percent, CNOOC (0883) and PetroChina (0857) opened 2 percent and 0.5 percent lower, respectively.
