Hang Seng Index rises at the open

The Hang Seng Index inched up in the early morning trading session.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index increased by 83 points, or 0.3 percent to 26,421 points. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.86 percent to around 5,786 points.
