Cheng family plans to sell Rosewood Hotel in London amid debt pressure: Bloomberg

The Cheng family planned to sell the Rosewood Hotel in London due to liquidity challenges of New World Development (0017), Bloomberg reported.

They have appointed advisors for the sale of Rosewood Hotel located in Holborn, London, the report said.

A spokesperson of Rosewood Hotel Group stated that their brand has not put on sale and all properties are operating as usual.

The family's investment platform Chow Tai Fook Enterprises has no response.

Rosewood Hotel Group is now operated by Sonia Cheng Chi-man, the daughter of Henry Cheng Kar-Shun, owning 58 properties in the world.
