Foreign direct investment in China totalled 693.2 billion yuan (HK$766 billion) from January to November this year, down 7.5 percent from the same period last year, data from the commerce ministry showed on Friday.

Actual investment from Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and Britain into China in the January to November period increased by 67 percent, 47.6 percent and 19.3 percent respectively compared with the same period last year, according to the ministry.
For November alone, foreign direct investment in China was up 26.1 percent year-on-year.
