Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (0388) said it will launch a new web-based service designed to refine interaction and communication with issuers next year, supporting the modernization of the city’s market infrastructure.
The HKEX Issuer Access Platform (HKEX IAP) will become the primary communication channel between listed issuers and HKEX, the bourse said in a statement on Friday.
Issuers and their advisers will submit and publish regulatory announcements through HKEX IAP, as well as interact with HKEX’s listing division on regulatory matters in a secure manner, it said.
A trial version of the platform will be released later in the year, with onboarding and user registration guidelines set to be published in late 2025, at the earliest, HKEX said.
Listed issuers will be able to start using the platform for document submission and communication with HKEX in phases, beginning in the second quarter of 2026, it said.
