The number of real estate agents in Hong Kong has fallen for a 10th straight month to its lowest level since December 2017 amid a protracted slump in the property market.

The city’s licensed real estate agent count fell by 137 in February to 38,306, down by 0.4 percent from the previous month, according to data from the Estate Agents Authority.
Over 24 months, the number has dwindled by 4,102 from a record high of 42,408 agents in February 2022, representing a nearly 10 percent drop in the workforce.
