Hong Kong socialite and actress Laurinda Ho Chiu-lin, 34, recently shared a touching dining experience with her stylish 74-year-old aunt, showcasing their close bond amid persistent rumors about her marriage to mainland actor Shawn Dou.
Laurinda Ho, the daughter of Macau gambling magnate Stanley Ho and his third wife, Ina Chan, has long been a fashion icon and is now making her mark in the entertainment industry.
Despite her busy career, she remains active on social media, where she often offers glimpses into her personal life.
Recently, Ho posted a video on her social media accounts featuring a meal with her aunt, affectionately known as "Auntie Fong." The older woman, believed to be Ina Chan’s sister,
impressed viewers with her poised demeanor and vibrant energy. At 74, Auntie Fong looked elegant and spirited, with striking silver hair and a refined sense of style.
The meeting took place at an upscale restaurant. In the video, Auntie Fong arrived first and waited politely for her niece.
Dressed in a white T-shirt paired with a light purple jacket, she exhibited timeless elegance.
Though in her seventies, she appeared fit and radiant, with no signs of slowing down.
When Laurinda arrived—wearing a casual athletic outfit and her hair tied in a ponytail—Auntie Fong stood up gracefully, placing her hands gently in front of her as a warm gesture of respect.
The two clearly share an affectionate relationship; at one point, Laurinda playfully ruffled her aunt’s hair, making them both laugh.
The meal included classic dishes such as sweet and sour pork ribs, cloud ham with baby cabbage, and stir-fried rice cakes with shredded pork and cabbage.
Throughout, Laurinda made sure to serve her aunt, who reciprocated with equal care.
In previous interviews, Laurinda mentioned that Auntie Fong remains incredibly active—even hiking for hours without tiring—and often outpaces her younger relatives in energy and enthusiasm.
The video comes at a time when rumors about Laurinda’s two-year marriage to actor Shawn Dou continue to swirl. Speculations about divorce and their decision not to have children have made frequent headlines, though neither has publicly addressed the claims.
Ina Chan, Laurinda’s mother, was originally a caretaker for Stanley Ho’s first wife, Clementina Leitao. After the tragic death of Ho’s eldest son, Robert, in a car accident, the family encouraged Stanley Ho to take another wife to ensure more heirs. Ina Chan was recommended and later became the third wife and mother to three children: Laurinda, her twin brother Orlando, and older sister Florinda.
