The 20-year-old YouTuber created a Xiaohongshu account on Monday (Apr 7) under the name "Speed", with an IP location marked as Hunan.
In his first post, Speed uploaded a six-second video enthusiastically calling out to his fans on the platform, saying "I am finally on the red note, hit the like button and join me! Speed Gang!"
Speed also included hashtags in Chinese such as "IShowSpeed joins Xiaohongshu."
The streamer had amassed around 590,000 followers as of 7pm on Wednesday (Apr 9), with fans flooding into the comments section to suggest places for him to visit.

Separately, following IShowSpeed's whirlwind visit to Hong Kong, some lawmakers expressed concern over whether the government will allocate resources for KOLs and the business sector to present positive stories about Hong Kong.
Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, emphasized the promotion of Hong Kong's positive image as a top priority for the government.
Tsang added that the department will continue to promote the Greater Bay Area through outreach activities in Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia.
Additionally, he assured that internal resource integration would ensure that outreach efforts are not compromised, highlighting the government's efforts to promote the advantages of the city through various official visits, meetings with foreign dignitaries, and events organized by overseas trade offices.
