The theme park opened at around 10am this morning, with panda enthusiasts arriving as early as 8am waiting to see the panda family.
They brought along panda plush toys and headbands, and told reporters they are thrilled to see the three pandas interact with each other for the first time.
Some residents paid HK$1,500 for an exclusive half-hour interaction with the giant pandas before the park officially opened. They said the pandas stuck close to each other, creating a heartwarming scene.
Some also said the experience was worthwhile and enjoyable, especially when they observed Ying Ying" grooming “Little Brother”.
