The Chinese animated film has surpassed over 10 billion yuan at the box office in China, making it the nation's highest-grossing film ever.
The four distribution companies are Mandarin Motion Pictures Ltd, Intercontinental Film Distributors (H.K.) Ltd., Sil-Metropole Organization Ltd., and Emperor Motion Pictures.
Their cinema chains, including Cinema City, MCL, WMOOV, and Emperor Cinemas, will collaborate to screen the movie.
Raymond Wong Pak-ming, director of Mandarin Motion Pictures, expressed great honor in bringing this outstanding Chinese movie to the Hong Kong and Macau markets, allowing audiences to enjoy it in theaters.
Ne Zha 2 was directed by Chinese animation filmmaker Jiaozi and involved nearly 140 teams and over 4,000 animators taking five years to produce.
The film continues the comedic style of Ne Zha (2019), featuring three times the number of characters and surpassing the total number of special effects shots in the original movie.
The record-breaking Ne Zha 2 has also become the only non-Hollywood film to break into the top 20 of global box office history.
