Fire erupts in Wong Tai Sin mall restaurant, no injuries reported

A fire occurred in a kitchen at a Wong Tai Sin mall on Thursday morning; no injuries were reported.

The fire broke out in a kitchen of a restaurant within the Fung Tak Estate mall in Wong Tai Sin, causing flames and smoke to billow out.

The restaurant staff, unable to control the blaze, focused on evacuating customers. 

Firefighters were promptly dispatched to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire.

Photos circulated online during the incident depicting thick smoke emanating from the mall's exhaust pipe, engulfing the surrounding area in a dense haze.
