In response to customers' inquiries about receiving tickets with the wrong date, Cityline stated it established a special task force to follow up and contacted the Consumer Council for assistance.
The ticketing agency noted that as of noon on Wednesday (Feb 12), the technical team discovered half of the reported cases had "never attempted to select a ticket for March 23."
Moreover, 20 percent of users were identified as robots or were using unauthorized programs for direct purchase attempts.
The team also found that 15 percent of users had initially attempted to select tickets for different dates and eventually confirmed the transactions for tickets other than March 23.
Cityline reported that five percent of users were using multiple browser sessions but ended up unable to complete their transactions due to sessions timed out and selected tickets for a date other than March 23 to confirm the purchase.
It emphasized that all investigations were carried out strictly in accordance with internal guidelines, with technicians meticulously reviewing user information and transaction numbers provided in each case to analyze records and action flows in the system log.
In addition, it confirmed that the investigation results indicated "no signs of system irregularities, and the purchase records were entirely consistent with the ticket selections made by users."
Cityline also stated the company has filed a report with the police after discovering some users using robots or unofficial programs for direct purchases.
In a statement released Wednesday evening, ComplexCon said it has been following up with Cityline on the formal inquires that Cityline and the Consumer Council have received so far regarding the priority ticketing sales on Monday.
"With the goal of ensuring the best experience for our fans and protecting the interests of those who have already successfully purchased tickets, we will assess individual cases and make the necessary arrangements accordingly," the statement read.
Further updates will be shared in due course, it added.
