The police are investigating the identity of a man after his body was discovered in the waters off Lamma Island on Tuesday morning.

At 10.27 am, police and firefighters were alerted to a report of a body floating in the southern part of Lamma Island, raising suspicions of a drowning.
Rescue workers promptly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they confirmed the individual was a male and retrieved his body from the water.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was subsequently transported to the Marine South Division base located on Shum Wan Road.
Authorities are currently working to determine his identity and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
