The trio – security guard Ng Wai-tak, 39, construction worker Wong Ho-sing, 29, and merchant Cheng Man-kit, 44 – had pleaded guilty earlier this month against their one count of riot, while Ng and Wong also faced another count of conspiracy to wound.
They were said to have participated in a riot with others at Yuen Long station on July 21, 2019, and conspired with others to unlawfully and maliciously injure other persons in the station.
Another defendant involved in the case, 42-year-old driver Tang Shiu-hung, had been jailed for 55 months previously after pleading guilty to the rioting and conspiracy to wound charges.
A total of 12 “men in white T-shirts”, who assaulted passengers at the station, had been convicted over the attack.
