School bus incident in Kowloon Tong leaves driver hospitalized

A school bus driver was hospitalized after being trapped in an accident in Kowloon Tong on Tuesday afternoon. 

The incident occurred shortly before 3 pm when the school bus is suspected to have lost control on Tim Fuk Road.

It subsequently mounted the pavement and become trapped in the hoarding of a nearby worksite with the windscreen shattered.

The driver, who was trapped inside the vehicle, climbed out on his own. He suffered scrape wounds to his limbs and was sent to hospital for medical attention while in a conscious state.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident to determine the factors that led to this mishap.
