These red packets will be handed out to staffers on continuous contracts, store management team members, office workers, and the management staff, Randy Lai Wai-sze, Chief Executive Officer of McDonald's Hong Kong said on Tuesday.
She highlighted that this incentive is intended to celebrate both the New Year and McDonald's Hong Kong’s 50th anniversary, as well as to express gratitude to employees for their dedicated service.
In addition to the red packets, the chain’s store management team will receive an increment starting this month, with the specific amount depending on work performance.
Meanwhile, the local restaurant chain said its staff annual dinner, themed around its 50th anniversary, will take place over three nights from February 10 to 12 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
With over 600 tables at the venue, some 8,000 “McFamily” members will be invited to celebrate the occasion, it added.
