Hong Kong experienced a chilly start on Sunday Morning, with the Hong Kong Observatory recording a minimum temperature of 11 degrees, marking the coldest temperature so far this winter.

In some areas in the New Territories, including Ta Kwu Ling, Sha Tin, and Tai Po, the mercury dropped to 9 degrees or below.
The weather was fine and very dry in the afternoon. Locally, the relative humidity over the territory fell to 30 percent or below around noon.
Temperatures will still be relatively low tomorrow morning (Jan 13). It will be generally cold over the New Territories, mainly fine and dry during the day. The weather will become cloudier with temperatures slightly rising in the following couple of days.
A cool morning is expected tomorrow (Jan 13), with the minimum temperature around 13 degrees.
According to the nine-day weather forecast, the temperature will begin to rise slightly on Tuesday (Jan 14) as the cold weather in Guangdong will be replaced by a fresh easterly airstream later tomorrow (Jan 13).
However, the forecast indicated that the lowest temperature on Thursday will drop to 13 degrees.
The weather will be mostly fine in the middle and end of this week due to another monsoon surge.
