Tech chief heads to Singapore for a three-day visit

The innovation and technology chief will depart for a visit to Singapore on Monday to promote the exchanges and collaboration on the innovation and technology front between the two places.

The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Sun Dong will meet with senior government officials and visit the Singapore Smart Nation and Digital Government Office to exchange experiences in building smart government and driving digital transformation.

He will also visit a local university and research facilities as well as deliver a speech at a business luncheon with the Singaporean IT community, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore and Invest Hong Kong.

Sun will return to Hong Kong in the evening on Wednesday.
