The Commission's statement noted that they were informed on Sunday evening that the visitor who attended the Open Day at their Headquarters Building in North Point has tested positive for COVID-19 using Rapid Antigen Test.
The participant reportedly attended a 105-minute guided tour at 10am that day.
The watchdog said they are now looking into the matter and will take appropriate follow-up action in accordance with advice from the Centre for Health Protection.
According to the latest anti-epidemic guidelines issued by the Department of Health, all participants of the ICAC Open Day are required to use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements before entering the ICAC Building.
During their visit, participants are required to wear a mask, maintain proper social distance, and refrain from eating and drinking. Disinfection of the exhibition venue is also carried out regularly.
