Wu Sai-chuen, a former member of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong, will announce a bid to join Hong Kong's Chief Executive election on Wednesday.
He is the second person to declare the intention to run in the city's leadership race, following kung fu movie producer and businessman Checkley Sin Kwok-lam - who made the announcement last month.
Wu had announced bids to enter the election earlier in 2012 and 2017. This time, his electoral manifesto mentioned six aspects, including housing, medical care, and elderly care.
He proposed letting everyone have a cozy home and allowing young people to understand Chinese society and opportunities within the Greater Bay Area.
He also said once being elected, he would first select capable ones from the current government to stay or promote and promote talents from civil servants to join the governing team to gain trust from the central government.
