The blocks in Kai Tak were locked down because the sewage samples discharged from there tested positive for Covid-19, a government spokesman said, suspecting that there are asymptomatic patients.
Regarding the Sai Ying Pun lockdown, the spokesman explained that some residents there have tested positive for Covid-19 and carried a mutant strain.
