Police raided an unlicensed upstairs bar in Central at 3pm on Saturday, arresting 35 customers and one person in charge.

Central police carried out Operation Fanwood on Saturday, during which officers patrolled bars in the district.
A 36-year-old non-Chinese woman in charge of a suspected unlicensed upstairs bar on Li Yuen Street East in Central was arrested for selling liquor without a license, possessing liquor for sale without a license, and violating the Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance.
In addition, 25 women and 10 men aged 23 to 71 who were found drinking inside the bar were arrested for breaching the social gathering cap. Among them, 25 were Filipino women and five were Filipino men. There was also a man from New Zealand and four local men. They fined HK$5,000 each.
Officers seized some 800 bottles of liquor, 10 plastic buckets and about HK$3,000 in cash.
All of the arrested were detained for investigation.
