A family of three were arrested after they quarreled about the 15-year-old son's homework and fought each other with a dumbbell and slippers on Monday night.

The incident took place around 9pm Monday at Tip Chui House of Butterfly Estate, Tuen Mun. 43-year-old father, Cheung, beat his 15-year-old son with his hands and slippers over homework issues, causing the son to fight back.
The man's 52-year-old wife, Leung, then lifted a dumbbell weighing five pounds and threw it at her husband, in hopes of protecting the son.
The dumbbell hit Cheung's forehead, leaving injuries on his hands and knees. The son was hurt on his neck and ears, while Leung said she felt unwell after the fight.
The incident was reported to police and medics admitted the trio to hospital. Police after investigation arrested Cheung for assault, and also arrested Leung and her son for assault causing bodily harm.
Investigation is still ongoing.
