Female biker dies in fatal car crash in Tsuen Wan

A fatal car crash took place in Tsuen Wan this afternon, in which a 40-year-old female motorcycle driver died after the incident.

Police is now investigating the incident.

The incident took place at 1.45pm on Friday. The motorcycle driven by the woman was traveling along the second lane of Tsuen Tsing Interchange while a private car driven by a 62-year-old man was traveling along the first lane of interchange.

The motorcycle reportedly cut the lane and collided with the private car when reaching near Texaco Road.

Sustaining serious head injury, the woman was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 2.33pm.

The private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.

Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway. Officers also urged anyone who witnessed the accident or has any information to offer to contact the investigating officers on 3661 1300 or 3661 1346.
