Criminals will be hunted down by all cops in the city, said police commissioner Raymond Siu Chak-yee as he warned the public not to commit any crime.
Speaking after the passing-out parade at the Hong Kong Police College this morning, Siu said he noticed some netizens beautified violence and glorified cold-blooded attack. Some even incited others to murder police officers and spread hatred against them.
“Do not commit any crime, I warn you. You will be caught by us if we find you glorifying others for breaking the law and inciting others to do so. We are always after you and we will put you behind bars,” said Siu.
His comment came as four persons have been arrested for posting inciting content online, encouraging people to attack or even murder police officers.
He added that nine were also recently arrested for planning terrorist attack, and among them six were secondary school students. The public should give thought to what triggers their attack plans as well, said Siu.
