Legendary radio DJ Uncle Ray to be laid to rest on Feb 23

The memorial ceremony of the respected Dr. Reinaldo Maria Cordeiro (Uncle Ray), who made significant contributions to the broadcasting industry, will be held on February 23, 2023 (Thursday) at 4:00 pm at Fok Hoi Hall, G/F, Hong Kong Funeral Home, North Point.  

Uncle Ray passed away peacefully at the Chinese University Medical Centre of Hong Kong at 5:00 pm on January 13, 2023, at age 98.  

The details of the memorial service are as follows:  

Date: February 23, 2023 (Thursday)  

Venue: Fok Hoi Hall, G/F, Hong Kong Funeral Home, North Point.

Public Tribute  

6:00 – 9:00 pm

Blessings & Prayers  

A closed private ceremony for family and close friends only will be held at 11am on Friday, February 24, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Church, 37 Garden Road, Central.   

The family would like to thank the media and friends for paying tribute and attending the memorial ceremony on February 23, 2023.  

No interviewing, photo- or video-shooting, or recording are allowed in the service hall to ensure that the farewell ceremony is conducted in solemnity without disturbance.
