Kimi Cai Xiaodie crowned Miss Asia on November 1

A former candidate of Miss Hong Kong Pageant, Kimi Cai Xiaodie, was crowned Miss Asia in Hong Kong on Sunday.

The 23-year-old model won a prize of HK$100,000 after winning Asia Television’s annual beauty pageant in Hong Kong region.

“The first thing I will do with the prize is to eat hot pot as I haven’t eaten it in two months. I will also invite other candidates to have a great meal together,” Cai said, adding she was also surprised by the result but felt excited.

Earlier, Cai also joined TVB’s Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2020, but dropped out before the final due to contract conflict.

Cai said she is confident in ATV and believes the television company will provide opportunities for them.

“I would like to become an actress in the future, or join some entertainment shows,” Cai said. “I think it would be challenging for me.”
