Art dialogue bridges Czechia and Hong Kong through curatorial exchange

A cross-cultural gathering in Sheung Wan is set to bring together curators and artists from Europe and Asia for a shared conversation on the future of contemporary art.

Taking place on March 22 at 101080 HHH on Hollywood Road, ART DIALOGUE CZECHIA – HONG KONG 2026 returns for its third edition, building on earlier exchanges between the two regions.

Presented as part of the Year of Czech Art in Hong Kong 2026, the symposium aims to deepen connections between Czechia and Hong Kong through curatorial dialogue and professional exchange.

The half-day event will gather a diverse group of curators, artists, gallerists and cultural practitioners, offering a platform for discussions that reflect the changing landscape of contemporary art. Co-curated with SATA – Society Art Technology Asia, this year’s edition places a particular focus on the intersection of art, technology, community building and popular culture.

Through panel discussions and case sharing, the program explores how curatorial practices are evolving in response to new technologies and shifting audience engagement. Themes range from reinterpreting artistic narratives to fostering inclusive creative communities and blending cultural influences across disciplines.

Alongside the talks, participants will also have the opportunity to join a guided tour of Symbiosis 3.0: Artificial Flavor, offering a closer look at how contemporary exhibitions are responding to the interplay between art and technology.

Beyond formal discussions, the symposium is designed as a space for exchange and connection. A networking session at the end of the program encourages participants to build relationships and explore potential collaborations.
