Monumental pink rose by haborfront

You don’t need to wait for long to have such an experience when you visit K11 MUSEA next month. It will bring to Hong Kong Rose II, a 8.5 meter monumental long-stemmed rose installation, by the German female artist Isa Genzken. Not only will the viewers be captivated by the gigantic size, they will also be impressed by the fact that the piece, which evokes a graceful touch, is actually made of steel and aluminum. Debuted in MoMA in New York in 2010, it will be the first time for it to be showcased in Asia. Also highlighted is Rose’s Allure, a giant nose sculpture inspired by classical Greek relics that allows you to pluck a fresh rose from the nostrils, turning a human unpleasant gesture to a pleasant surprise.
