Sisley continues hair care innovations

Sisley, which has ben an innovator in hair care since 1976, is celebrating the second year anniversary of of its popular products line, Hair Rituel, by launching the Restructuring Nourishing Balm for Hair Lengths and Ends, on Tuesday in Hong Kong.

Hair Rituel by Sisley made its debut in 2018.
Since the cells of the skin and scalp are very similar in terms of their composition and functioning, Sisley Research drew on its phytocosmetic knowledge to create the Hair Rituel by Sisley brand in 2018. The range includes 12 essential products.

The new Restructuring Nourishing Balm for Hair Lengths and Ends is a lipid-replenishing pre-shampoo balm to intensely care for damaged, dehydrated hair and encourage a “hair transformation,'' Sisley says.
Damaged hair is a common concern for men and women. Many factors can alter the hair fibre
and cause its deep lipid content to deteriorate. They can be linked to external factors such as stress,
pollution, fatigue and chemical treatments or can be due to the hair's nature (for instance dry, curly, wavy or afro hair).
As a result, the hair is more prone to breakage, lacks lipids, becomes coarse, loses its shine and forms split ends.
The night-time provides an ideal window during which active ingredients can have a longer and deeper action, thereby encouraging intense hair repair.
The Hair Rituel by Sisley Restructuring Nourishing Balm turns the night-time into a hair beauty ritual. The formula consists of an nourishing complex particularly concentrated in natural oils. These oils provide a complementary action on three levels to treat, regenerate and improve the hair fiber.

It promises to nourish hair to improve softeness and shine, thanks to a cocktail of oils.

The combined functions and benefits of Shea, Macadamia, Babassu, Moringa and Meadowfoam Seed oils smooth, nourish, coat and restructure the hair and limit dehydration.
They provide added softness, shine and suppleness to nourish the hair and to assist with detangling.
It repairs hair fiber on the surface with an 18-MEA biomimetic active ingredient.
Like the skin, the hair fiber is covered by a hydrolipidic film known as the "F layer" (fatty layer), which is predominantly comprised of fatty acid 18-MEA. Once damaged, this film is not renewed.
To counteract this phenomenon, Hair Rituel by Sisley has incorporated this major active ingredient, which targets the damaged portions of the cuticle and strengthens the hair's protective barrier to repair
the hair fibre.

It restructres the fiber deep down thanks to a "gap filling" ceramide-like ingredient that reinforces the hair's internal lipid structure and improves its resistance. The hair is restructured to optimally resist
breakage and split ends.
Treatment would involve a 30-minute regimen, or eight hours overnight.

The product line includes shampoos and conditioners.

And specific treatments include, Pre-Shampoo Purifying Mask with White Clay, and Regenerating Hair Care Mask with four botanical oils
