Tickets for the landmark 50th anniversary of the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens will be available starting October 1, organizers announced on Tuesday. The celebrated rugby event is set to take place from April 17 to 19, 2026, at the Kai Tak Stadium.
Marking its first price increase in eight years, a three-day General Admission adult pass will be priced at HK$2,250, while a child pass, for those aged 12 and under, will cost HK$1,100. A special 11 percent discount will be offered during a 24-hour early bird sale on November 11.
The sales rollout will begin with a priority window for registered members of local rugby clubs starting October 1. International travel packages will also be available through official partners and co-sponsor Cathay beginning in early October.
General public sales will commence on November 12, following an exclusive early bird pre-sale on November 11.
For the first time since its move to the new Kai Tak Stadium, single-day tickets will also be available exclusively through travel agency Klook during the early bird sale, starting from HK$550 for adults and HK$300 for children.
The 2026 tournament will feature 24 international teams as part of the HSBC SVNS World Championship and will include the popular Melrose Claymores competition.
In addition to three days of rugby, the event will offer live music, entertainment, and a fan village with over 20 performance groups.
Premium hospitality options will also be available, including the Captain’s Lounge package at HK$18,250, which offers gourmet dining, reserved seating, and meet-and-greet opportunities with rugby legends.
Having drawn over 110,000 fans during its inaugural year at Kai Tak in 2024, the Hong Kong Sevens continues its legacy as one of the world’s premier sporting events.
