This is among the exposes revealed in the latest issue of East Week, a sister publication of The Standard, which has also spotted Wu's friend Myolie Wu Hang-yee's husband in scandalously intimate scenes with multiple women.
Nancy Wu, 43, who announced her relationship last November but kept her beau's identity under wraps, has been spotted on multiple romantic dates with Chan. They were even seen shopping for furniture - sparking rumors they are building a love nest.
The actress is renowned for her roles in numerous television dramas, such as the Rosy Business series and A Fist Within Four Walls.
She has won the best actress award multiple times at television awards.
Chan, a surgeon who graduated from Chinese University of Hong Kong, joined the Medecins Sans Frontieres, or Doctors Without Borders, in 2012.
He made eight trips to war zones like Pakistan, Syria, and South Sudan to perform life-saving surgeries, which has earned him praise from local comedian and actor Dayo Wong Tze-wah, who called him a "role model for men."
But it is not just his heroics that are captivating - Chan stands six feet tall, has a rugged, athletic build and a charming beard, earning him the nickname "Doctor AK," which is why not many are surprise he won the heart of the actress.
After finishing his clinic duties, Chan drove his sleek HK$2 million G63 Benz to MegaBox, where he was seen meticulously browsing sofas, snapping photos and texting - some speculated it was Wu and that they are preparing their dream home.
She later joined him, and the pair enjoyed a cozy dinner at a Thai restaurant. Chan could not keep his eyes off Wu, flashing sweet smiles, while the actress gazed at him adoringly. After dinner, they headed to the cinema, with Chan constantly looking back to check on her, proving he is the ultimate gentleman.
According to insiders, Wu is head over heels for Chan, even taking on the role of a "doting wife" - cooking soups and dishes to win his heart.
The couple is reportedly in a semi-cohabitation phase and has discussed marriage plans.
Chan has also seamlessly integrated into her social circle, bonding with her "Sisterhood Group" friends and attending events together.
"They're so sweet," a friend revealed. "Chan is incredibly thoughtful, and Nancy is completely smitten."
Wu's love life has not been smooth sailing. Over her 25-year career, she has had four high-profile relationships - with singer Deep Ng Ho-hong, actor Kenneth Ma Kwok-ming, music producer Terry Chan, and creative consultant Patt Sham - but none lasted.
She once admitted her strong personality kept partners at a distance.
