Yum China, the nation's largest restaurant company, recently held its annual convention in the SAR with support from the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Taking place from December 15 to 18, the convention showcased the company's extensive reach - operating more than 15,000 restaurants across approximately 2,200 cities and towns in the mainland.
Chief executive Joey Wat Chui-yung described Hong Kong as her "second home" and emphasized her enthusiasm for introducing restaurant managers to the region.
"Hong Kong is an exceptionally efficient city filled with vibrant energy, featuring a unique cultural fusion of East and West, making it a paradise for tourism and international cuisine," she said.
Wat expressed hope that participants would seize the opportunity to explore Hong Kong's rich flavors and cultural heritage and thanked the board for its generous support and hospitality.The board's executive director, Dane Cheng Ting-yat, welcomed Yum China's decision to hold its annual meeting here, highlighting its diverse culture and abundant business opportunities.
"We invite everyone to visit Hong Kong again in the future. The HKTB is committed to promoting the city's meetings and incentives travel by developing enriching itineraries for various M&I groups," Cheng said.In addition to the convention, Yum China staff enjoyed excursions to renowned attractions such as Disneyland, Ocean Park, and the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Du Jing, a first-time visitor, shared her excitement for exploring The Peak and Victoria Harbour, expressing a desire to return with her family."I loved experiencing Hong Kong's nightlife in Central, and I was eager to see the many scenic spots featured in local television dramas," Du said.
Fu Weidong, visiting the city for a second time, praised Hong Kong as an international metropolis and expressed his fondness for Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei, locations known for their appearances in crime films.Another returning visitor, Wang Wenwen, expressed her interest in exploring new attractions, including a night bus tour and a ride on the Ngong Ping 360 cable cars.
