The Consumer Council's iconic CHOICE Magazine became free to read online yesterday, providing consumers access to consumption-related information on all aspects of daily life.They can also download the newest issues by noon on scheduled publication days, starting from January 15 for issue 579. "Making CHOICE Magazine free for all is an important milestone for the Consumer Council," said its chairman Clement Chan Kam-wing.
Consumers can visit the watchdog's website to access articles dating as far back as issue 302 - published in December 2001 - and read test reports, market updates, "Case in Point" complaint articles, health tips and environmental protection information.
