"It is undeniable that the economies of both countries have quickly recovered after their border reopening," Lam said in a video he posted while under quarantine.
He said he was confident at Hong Kong reopening its border and was looking forward to the financial hub getting back on track with bated breath. He suggested the government ensure sufficient quarantine facilities and push forward the health code to brace for an increase in cases after border reopening.
