Cheng WongLee said the NPCSC meetings today and tomorrow in Beijing will primarily focus on reviewing the draft Private Economy Promotion Law and amending the Civil Aviation Law.
The National People's Congress Standing Committee will again scrutinize the draft law for promoting the private sector economy, Starry Lee Wai-king said.

"Many Hongkongers currently live in the mainland for work, employment and investment, so mainland laws are important to them," Lee said.
She highlighted that Hong Kong businesses have consistently represented a significant proportion of investments in the mainland and noted that she received feedback from private entrepreneurs during the initial review of the draft law.
"They certainly hope that the country will implement the Private Economy Promotion Law, enabling private enterprises to operate more effectively in the mainland," she said.
Lee also expressed her commitment to gathering views from various sectors in the mainland regarding the legislation.The NPCSC meetings come ahead of next week's Two Sessions.
