Sing Tao Daily, sister newspaper of The Standard, reported that Emperor Entertainment Group, the company which manages Tse, has considered putting on a father-and-son performance, but it would depend on the elder Tse's health condition.
Patrick Tse, who has been in the industry since the 1950s, has raised concerns among fans as he has made very few public appearances after winning best actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 2022.
He was recently seen in a Tsim Sha Tsui cafe with his friends and assistants, but had coughed a few times during the meal and had a walking stick with him at all times.
While it is unsure whether the father-and-son materialize, the elder Tse said he is excited and looking forward to the performances, according to Sing Tao Daily.
