Garuda Indonesia is holding a seven-day online promotion, "Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair, The Biggest Travel Deal," in Hong Kong for the first time since yesterday, offering discounted tickets to Indonesia.
"We hope that through this event, we can increase awareness of Indonesia and stimulate the tourism industry there," said Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, minister of tourism and creative economy of the Republic of Indonesia.
The promotion is applicable to five destinations in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bali, and Manado.
Economy class round-trip tickets from Hong Kong to Jakarta start at HK$2,897; Hong Kong to Yogyakarta start at HK$3,653; Hong Kong to Surabaya start at HK$3,871; Hong Kong to Bali start at HK$4,071; and Hong Kong to Manado start at HK$4,882, all prices inclusive of taxes. Tickets can be purchased via Garuda Indonesia's official website, FlvGaruda and Livin' Sukha's Livin' mobile apps, and travel agencies until Sunday, with travel dates beginning now until November 19, next year.The airline currently offers one daily round-trip flight between Hong Kong and Jakarta, with passengers able to connect to various popular destinations across Indonesia.
