Digital art fair is back

The Hong Kong Digital Art Fair returns to Central in October with a special "Xperience" show using interactive technologies including blockchain, virtual reality and metaverse.

The fair will feature half of artworks from local artists and the other half international, including London-based Chinese Jacky Tsai, who created Parody of Jay's Music in 2019 to recap pop singer Jay Chou Chieh-lun's 20-year career.

Tsai will be creating unique immersive digital art for the fair, which fuses traditional Eastern art techniques and imagery with Western pop art.

Visitors are also invited to join the artists and creators to make personalized artificial intelligence artwork and non-fungible tokens, bringing the art collectors closer to the new digital art trend.

The fair runs from October 20 to November 6 in a 20,000-square-foot venue at Asia Standard Tower, Central.

Tickets are sold on Klook at three prices: HK$140 for full-time students, seniors and disabled; HK$280 regular; and HK$880 VIPs.

An early bird discount until Monday is offering 20 percent off ticket.
