Tongue-burning gift idea

Netizens jokingly suggested giving away Vita's tongue-burning edition of "spicy lemon tea" as Christmas gifts after a supermarket sold the product for as low as HK$1 per bottle.

In a picture shared on online forum LIHKG on Wednesday, 10 boxes of the product with a sign that reads "Clearance sales of 'spicy lemon tea' at HK$1 per bottle" are seen placed at the supermarket's entrance.

Meanwhile, around 10 bottles of the product from one of the paper boxes were sold.

A netizen suggested that buying a box of the product as Christmas gifts would be a good idea.

"Buying 9 to 10 bottles of the product as Christmas gifts is worth the money too," he said.

Another netizen confessed that the product, in fact, did not taste bad - but most did not share his view.

"It's so spicy Drinking it is no different from drinking chili oil," a netizen who tried the product commented.

"It is hard to describe its taste Not only does it taste bad, but it also tastes like gasoline," another netizen lamented.
