The Scent of Lotus Perfumes the City of Macao – the 26th Macao Lotus Flower Festival
Macao welcomes a refreshing touch of natural beauty through the Lotus Flower Festival, a citywide celebration dedicated to the elegant aquatic plant that is also Macao’s official symbol. Organised by the Municipal Affairs Bureau and now in its 26th edition, the festival brings lotus displays to public spaces, allowing residents and visitors to appreciate one of the city’s most graceful floral emblems.
With the theme “Lotus Filling Macao with Joy”, more than 9000 pots of lotus flowers and 20 species will be displayed. The main floral displays are presented at Avenida da Praia in Taipa, near the Taipa Houses, while potted lotus flowers can also be found in parks and public spaces across the city. A series of exhibitions and activities with rich content will be arranged, inviting visitors to slow down and enjoy Macao’s softer, more leisurely side.

The 26th Macao Lotus Flower Festival brings more than 9,000 pots of lotus flowers to Avenida da Praia in Taipa and public spaces across the city, filling Macao with seasonal colour and natural charm.
June – Month of Portugal
June – Month of Portugal celebrates Portugal’s National Day on 10 June, officially the Day of Portugal, Camões, and the Portuguese Communities. Organised by Macao-based entities with ties to Portugal, the multi-week programme features 38 events across culture, artistic performances, gastronomy and more, highlighting the enduring connections between Macao and Portugal.
Running from 1 to 30 June, the fourth edition of Comer e Beber à Portuguesa promotes Portuguese cuisine in Macao’s cultural context. A total of 35 participating restaurants will offer special arrangements, including a 10.06% à la carte discount, a thematic June menu, or both.
Participants may also join a lucky draw to win a meal at a participating restaurant. Partner entity Banco Nacional Ultramarino will offer a separate campaign for BNU credit cardholders and BNU Pay users, with a lucky draw prize of a return trip to Portugal for two.

Ilha dos Amores –Leong Kit Man Solo Exhibition
Ilha dos Amores is a solo exhibition by local artist Leong Kit Man, presented by CAC – Círculo dos Amigos da Cultura de Macau. Inspired by Luís de Camões’ stay in Macao and the vivid imagery of Os Lusíadas, Leong’s Chinese paintings explore the mythical island through delicate brushwork.
The exhibition reflects Macao’s East-meets-West character and pays tribute to Portugal’s cultural heritage.

Intensive Documentary Photography Workshop with Eduardo Leal
This two-day workshop invites beginner and advanced photographers to move from single images towards visual storytelling. Through portfolio reviews, mentoring, fieldwork, editing and sequencing exercises, participants will learn to build coherent photographic essays using Macao’s everyday scenes and distinctive light.
Each participant will complete an eight-image documentary series with a clear beginning, middle and end.

Concert by Maat Saxophone Quartet
Also presented under June – Month of Portugal, this concert features a programme inspired by Fado and Portuguese composers. The Maat Saxophone Quartet blends classical and traditional music, with works by Carlos Paredes, Nuno Lobo, Hugo Correia, Alejandro Erlich Oliva, José Afonso and Luís Tinoco, performed by saxophonist Catarina Gomes.

Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition
The Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition brings collectors and philatelic enthusiasts from around the world to the city’s first global philatelic showcase. Visitors can explore around 1,500 exhibition frames and sets, as well as approximately 50 sales booths offering stamps and specialist collectibles.

Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition showcases around 1,500 exhibition frames and sets, alongside some 50 sales booths featuring stamps and specialist collectibles.
Tourism and Leisure Buses
The Tourism and Leisure Buses offer a free and convenient way to explore Macao’s local districts, connecting resorts with community attractions across areas such as the Northern District, ZAPE, Barra, Rua dos Ervanários, San Kio, Patane, the Hong Kung Night Market area and Anim’arte Nam Van. Since its launch, the service has helped direct visitor flow into local neighbourhoods, with around 10,000 visitors using the buses by the end of May and the mobile website recording more than 14,000 visits.
From 13 June, the service will be further optimised with two-way routes between Cotai and Macao, regular weekend operation of the ZAPE route, and an earlier afternoon first departure for the Pagode do Bazar route on weekends. A mobile-friendly website provides real-time routes, timetables, stops, points of interest and details of around 300 featured businesses.

Fly You to Macao offers eligible foreign visitors (not applicable to residents of the Greater China region) arriving in Hong Kong a free one-way direct coach ticket from the restricted area of Hong Kong International Airport to Macao via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
The promotion supports Hong Kong-Macao twin-destination travel and encourages visitors to add Macao’s attractions, events and leisure facilities to their itinerary.
