4 men arrested for illegal street gambling in Kwai Chung

Police arrested four local men aged between 62 and 87 in an anti-illegal street gambling operation in Kwai Chung on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers from the Kwai Chung division uniform patrol team conducted the operation in the Shek Yam Road area. The four men were arrested on suspicion of gambling in a street or place other than a casino.

They have each been charged with one count of "gambling in a street or place other than a casino." The case will be heard at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on March 17. Officers also seized suspected gambling paraphernalia and a small amount of cash during the operation.
