Police arrested a 14-year-old boy on Friday after finding him allegedly in possession of suspected etomidate e-cigarette cartridges in a shopping mall in Lam Tin.
At around noon on January 16, a passerby reported a male suspected of using drugs inside the mall at 50 Kai Tin Road.
Officers arrived, stopped and searched the teenager, and recovered three suspected etomidate e-cigarette cartridges plus two vaping devices from him.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs and remains in custody.
The case is being handled by the Kwun Tong police district.
