Mainland man missing in Lung Ha Wan; helicopter deployed for search

A 47-year-old mainland Chinese man, Ye Zhihui, has been reported missing after last being seen at Tai Au Mun in Sai Kung on Monday morning (Jan 5). His family filed a report with police the same day amid concerns he may have attempted suicide.

At around 12:00 pm today (Jan 8), police and firefighters launched a search in the Lung Ha Wan area of Tai Au Mun, with the Government Flying Service deploying a helicopter to assist. No trace of Ye has been found so far, and the search operation is ongoing.

Ye is about 1.65 m tall, weighs around 63 kg, has a medium build, an oval face, yellowish skin, and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a grey-blue long-sleeved jacket, dark trousers, dark grey shoes, and carrying a purple backpack.
