IT manager sentenced to 22 months for stealing $1.2m in Deloitte laptops

A 58-year-old man lost 10 watches valued at approximately HK$168,000 after his detached house in Pat Heung was burglarized early Tuesday.
Police received a report from the owner, surnamed Wan, at around 1am after he discovered signs of ransacking at his home on Shui Kan Shek, Fan Kam Road.
Officers arrived at the scene and preliminary checks revealed the timepieces had been stolen. The case has been classified as burglary and assigned to the Yuen Long district crime squad for investigation. No arrests have been made so far.
According to sources, the victim and his family had returned from a trip to Thailand when they found their home had been broken into.
