As part of the National Day celebrations, the Chinese naval training vessel Qi Jiguang and the amphibious transport dock Yimengshan are open to the public on Wednesday (Oct 1) and Thursday (Oct 2) before departing the city tomorrow (Oct 3).
Law noted that she was particularly impressed by the advanced equipment onboard, which included various firearms and types of boats.
"The visit served as a compelling demonstration of national strength, and the tour guides exhibited remarkable kindness throughout the experience," Law stated.
She was delighted in observing numerous citizens engaging in photography and collecting commemorative stamps during the event.
Following the visit to Hong Kong, the two vessels will visit Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore with open-day events for both local and overseas Chinese communities.
